 SDO Lucena enhances KSAVs with NQMS Training for KMT and SDO Staff The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Lucena conducted a two-day Capacity-Building on the National Quality Management System (NQMS) at M.I. Sevilla Resort and Hotel, Brgy. Domoit, Lucena City, June 27 and 28. Through this capacity-building activity, the Knowledge Management Team and selected SDO personnel have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement and maintain the QMS. This training underscores DepEd's dedication to delivering high-quality education and cultivating a culture of excellence and accountability within the organization. This activity included nine (9) sessions and aimed to enhance personnel capacity, ensure consistency in delivering quality services, and promote continuous improvement for enhanced and sustained client satisfaction. Ms. Maureen Jane Alangco, PDO I and the Lead of KMT in SDO Biñan City, conducted online sessions on ISO 9001:2015, Clause 7.5, DepEd documentary requirements, introduction to document control, implementing an effective document control system, and DepEd Documented Information Control System. Ms. Mylene R. Dapol, EPS II-ALS/Deputy Lead of KMT, covered topics on familiarization with Division forms and templates, review, revision, deletion of forms and templates, registration of documents to the Document Master List, and distribution of documents. Mr. Erwin M. Montes, Records Officer/Deputy Lead of KMT, provided insights on access and retrieval, storage and protection, archiving, and disposal of documents. More so, Ms. Cristina B. Rogelio facilitated the workshop, offering participants a status checklist for finalizing forms and documents and presenting the Quality Control Plan (QCP) per unit. This successful event was made possible with the support and guidance of top management, who were present throughout the capacity-building sessions. The SDS delivered a motivating message emphasizing the significance of QMS, while the ASDS highlighted the KMT mantra, "Ang nasusulat ay ginagawa, at ang ginagawa ay dapat nasusulat" to reinforce the session's purpose. //Kale D.
