Isabang Elementary School's exceptional teachers and staff are basking in the limelight as they are recognized by the prestigious Gawad Edukampyon 2023 last August 17.
Mrs. Nedelyn L. Lotino and Ms. Jasmine C. Ortigoza, the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) chairpersons, took the helm of the esteemed awarding ceremony that celebrates excellence in education and highlights the remarkable achievements of Isabang Elementary School's educators who have consistently gone above and beyond for their students.
This school-based activity is anchored in the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) of the Department of Education that aims to encourage, recognize and reward employees, individually or in groups, for their suggestions, innovative ideas, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, heroic deeds, exemplary behavior, extraordinary acts or services in the public interest and other personal efforts contributing to efficiency, economy and improvement in government operations which lead to organizational productivity. Isabang Elementary School has garnered numerous achievements and recognition over the years. Its commitment to providing quality education has been acknowledged by the local community. The school has consistently produced outstanding learners who excel academically and morally, a testament to the dedication of its teachers and staff.
The Administrative Officer II of Isabang Elementary School commended everyone in her opening remarks for the employee’s unwavering passion and dedication to education. “Through Gawad Edukampyon 2023, I believe that acknowledging the efforts of these dedicated individuals will not only inspire them but also motivate others within the education system. By shining a spotlight on their achievements, this award ceremony aims to uplift and celebrate the unsung heroes in our schools,” Mrs. Maricel G. Cedaria added.
Honoring the unsung heroes
Each teacher received an award in recognition of their dedication in many areas, such as subject chairmanships and ancillary services. The Perfect Attendance award was presented to Mrs. Carina A. Co and Ms. Monethe P. Buerano for setting high standard for professionalism by consistently showing up and giving their best.
This school-based event will undoubtedly keep encouraging educators and staff to continue striving for excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the field of education.
