School Governance and Operations Division, through the School Management, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit guided the school heads and SBM coordinators on the implementing guidelines on the establishment of the School Governance Council (SGC), January 19, via Microsoft Teams. Dr. Pascual C. La Rosa Jr., SEPS-SMME, led session 1 and discussed DepEd Order No. 26, s. 2022 “Implementing Guidelines on the Establishment of SGC.” Meanwhile, Dr. Jennifer M. Oestar, EPS II-SMME, explained the contents of the SGC Functionality Assessment Tool and how means of verification for each functionality indicator is validated. SGOD Chief Dr. Epifania F. Carandang, represented by SGOD-EPS Dr. Karina R. Bautista, sent her warm welcome to the participants and wished that the purpose of the orientation shall be achieved. Top Management SDS Dr. Hermogenes M. Panganiban and ASDS Phillip B.
